Virtual Boy Returns: Nintendo brings 1995 3D console to Switch Online in 2026
Nintendo is reviving the Virtual Boy for Switch Online + Expansion Pack, launching Feb. 17, 2026, in the US and Canada. Fourteen of the 22 original games will roll out, starting with Mario's Tennis, Tetris, Wario Land, Teleroboxer, and Galactic Pinball. Two accessories will mimic the original hardware: a $100 plastic unit and a $25 cardboard version. Support includes Switch and Switch 2, but not Switch Lite.
